$1-Million 1st-Place Prize From Online Poker Room

Just 2 months after returning from the Aruba Poker Classic 2007, popular online poker room, UltimateBet, is heading back to the Caribbean island for a massive tournament that promises to award the largest first-place prize in UltimateBet history - $1,000,000.

The 7th annual Aruba Poker Classic 2008 is still a good ways off, scheduled to start September 27th, 2008, at the luxurious Radisson Aruba Resort and Casino. The tournament will last 8 days with the final table ending October 4th, where the crowned victor will walk away with a cool million in cash.

Matt savage, a highly respected poker tournament director who made his Aruba Poker Classic directorial debut in the 2006 tournament, will return to oversee the island poker event. Famous names who've participated in the tournament's previous years include none of than 11-time WSOP bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth, Annie Duke, Phil 'The Unabomber' Laak, Jennifer Tilly and Scott Ian of popular heavy metal band, Anthrax.

Qualifiers to the 2008 Aruba Poker Classic are set to begin in January of 2008 at UltimateBet online poker room.
