Betfair Gets New Talent

It has been announced that Betfair Poker had appointed a new director of poker for their online gaming, this new director is Bruce Stubbs and according to reports he will be beginning his new position immediately. Stubbs recently acted as a project manager for Betfair.

This new director has a long history in the game of online poker and was also with Paradise Poker in the beginning of online poker as a marketing director. 

In a statement from Stubbs he said that he has long watched Betfair Poker and with the values that Befair Poker has is what he feels is important in online poker sites. He went on to say with these values Betfair Poker could become a major player in online poker casinos.

During the recent inaugural World Series of Poker Europe, Stubbs was the acting project manager for Betfair Poker and was a major factor in the signing of Annette Obrestad with Betfair. Obrestad was the youngest poker player at the age of nineteen to win the WSOPE Main Event and signed to Betfair Poker who operates with a Maltese license and came to the world of online poker in 2004. Obreastad represented Betfair Poker along with Thomas "The Buzzard" Bihl at the WSOPE.
