CanBet Joins Microgaming Network

The Microgaming Network will soon be adding another online gambling site to their already impressive index of clients. Canbet.com, owned and operated by parent company International All Sports (IAS), has said the integration of Microgaming's elite gambling software platform will take effect immediately.

Canbet.com and IAS revealed that the maneuver is largely due to a desire to offer more multi-lingual support to their customers as they are focusing their sites heavily on the European market. Canbet's merger with IAS in 2005 brought them into the UK market, also allowing the provision of online casino and online poker capabilities.

The IAS, founded in 1996, was the first licensed bookmaker in Australia. The company has earned a distinguished reputation over the last decade, offering 24-hour betting services on world sporting events, international horse racing, greyhound racing and other entertainment venues.

IAS founder Mark Read commented on the partnership with Microgaming, "The addition of Microgaming Poker Network to our range of industry-leading betting services, including our revolutionary new live soccer betting product, is a sign of our commitment to continue to provide players with the best in online wagering and gaming."

CEO of Microgaming, Roger Raatgever, also expressed his pleasure with the new partnership, "We are delighted that Canbet.com have chosen to join the Microgaming Poker Network and we look forward to a long and fruitful partnership."

Raatgever also spoke of Microgaming's recent success in the online gambling software industry, "We've experienced a great first half of the year, signing up significant numbers of operators and expect to see this trend continue into the second half."
