Four Winds Casino; World's Largest Automated Poker Room

New Buffalo, Michigan saw the opening of the world's largest automated poker room yesterday, August 2, as Four Winds Casino and Resort made its grand entry to the land-based casino industry. The new Four Winds Poker Room boasts the introduction of fifteen 10-seat poker tables and four Heads-Up tables, each exclusively powered by PokerPro® technology.

Developed by PokerTek, PokerPro® tables are completely automated, electronic tables permitting poker players to compete against one another without the need for a live dealer. Monitors are placed at each seat, where players may view their cards and execute the various options in a wide range of poker games. A large center monitor proffers community cards, pot size and individual chip stacks.

PokerPro® technology comes complete with Texas Hold'Em, available in Limit and No Limit, as well as Limit and Pot Limit varieties of Omaha and Omaha Hi/Lo. Single-Table and Multi-Table tournaments may be entered with a range of buy-ins. Players also have the opportunity to win seats in major events.

The technology not only implements 100% accuracy, unlike live dealer tables whop experience the occasional discrepancy disputes from players, it also presents up to a 50% increase in hands played per hour, making for much faster gameplay.

Other features of the new casino establishment include 100 table games, more than 3,000 slot machines, 165 hotel rooms, 6 restaurants and 5 bars.
