October 1st
of this year an organization was formed officially at Harvard Law School, this
group that formed is the Global Poker Strategic Thinking Societies or GPSTS.
In the daily Harvard Crimson their newsletter Harvard Law School held a forum on the legal issues of online gambling, which they aptly named Going All In: Poker and the Law. Weld Professor of Law Charles R. Nesson moderated over this forum. The professor has also since placed this on his you tube blog; as well as the forum discussion that is also placed on this you tube site, for any you tube viewer to watch and is titled USA v. Online Poker.
There will be another forum held on Wednesday, which the topic will be on the World Trade Organization; this forum will also be placed on you tube on Professor Nesson's site for you tube viewers.
For this forum the Global Poker Strategic Thinking Society has plans to have a panel debate on the World Trade Organization, the United States and Antigua.
Professor Nesson has made comments that poker is so much a part of America and that the idea that it is illegal is offensive.
