Irish Open 2008 Schedule Announced

The full schedule has been announce for the 2008 Irish Open by Paddy Power Poker and included in the 2008 Irish Open there is set to be a ladies event for the first time in this series of tournaments.

 

The head of poker at Paddy Power Poker, Nikki Newman has stated that she is very excited with this new event for ladies only and she has wanted to bring more women to the poker games.

 

The Irish Poker Open is set to take place at the Citywest Hotel in Dublin Ireland in March of 2008 with the main event beginning day one on March 20^th. The main event will have a Ђ 3 million prize pool for the poker players in this tournament.

 

The schedule that Paddy Power Poker has made available is as follows:

March 19^th: the Main Event super  buy-in: Ђ 300 + Ђ 30

March 20^th:  Irish Open Main Event : Day 1a buy-in: Ђ 4,200 + Ђ 300

March 21^st : Main Event : Day 1b

March 22^nd:Irish Open Ladies No-Limit Hold'em freezeout : two day event    buy-in:Ђ 300 + Ђ 30

March 22^nd : No-Limit Hold'em freezeout : two day event  buy-in: Ђ 1,500 + Ђ 150

March 23 : Pot-Limit Omaha re-buy  re-buy: Ђ 400 + Ђ 40

March 24: No-Limit Hold'em Double Chance Scalp
