Sorel Mizzi Wins The Tournament Titan

Sorel Mizzi, an online poker player from Canada is in the news again, this time for poker accomplishments, not poker scandal.  Mizzi won Titan Poker's, The Tournament Titan, the $1,000,000 Guaranteed Prize Sit 'n' Go Tournament.

This tournament features an elite field of 20 poker players (including Mizzi) from all over the world.  Sorel bested them all to take home the $200,000 first prize package of cash and an entry into the 2008 World Series of Poker.

This Sit N Go tournament was the richest ever online and to qualify you had to make the final table in a select group of cash tournaments or win a Titan Poker Player Points race. The Tournament Titan took over a year to garner the 20 skilled players that finally took to the tables.

When he qualified, Mizzi said, "I've been playing professionally for over a year and a half. Poker has allowed me to travel extensively and do so many incredible things. I look forward to this tournament as another opportunity to continue to show the poker community what I'm capable of."

MIzzi also has had so offline success with three cashes in the 2007 WSOP and more than half a million dollars in other land-based poker tournaments.
