UK Online Gambling Survey

There has recently been a study done by the British Gambling Commission has released their findings and this survey shows that online gambling has risen.

While online gambling has become more popular and more UK residents are entering online games the chief demographic that found in this survey was males between the ages of eighteen and thirty-four years old.

This survey was conducted by a company named ICM Research who has produced their findings and that they had surveyed over eight thousand adults in the UK and these results are on a document entitled "Survey Data on Remote Gambling Participation" and is posted on the UK Gambling Commission internet site.

This survey has given the UK Gambling Commission has stated it can use this information to improve measures, it also allows them to understand what the demographics are for age and sex of online poker players and other gamblers.

Some of the questions on the survey asked if the person had gambled on the Internet by desktop, laptop or hand held device and those who have gambled were asked what type of device they used or what type of gambling did they do if it was the National Lottery.
