WSOP Academy Adds Two New Instructors

The World Series of Poker Academy recently added two new names to their list of instructors. Paul Wasicka and Brad Booth are the newest additions to the WSOP Academy. Both men will join the family of professionals who make up the WSOP Academy instructors.

Jeff Goldenberg of Post Oak Productions, the company that produces the WSOP Academy has stated this about the two pros. "Both are extremely intelligent players with their own aggressive and successful styles, and they will bring a wealth of knowledge to our Academies.

Paul Wasicka ,'KwickFish', is a twenty-five year old from Dallas, Texas. Paul has always been involved in sports and a trip to Vancouver introduced him to gambling. He stopped at a casino and put down $10 on a blackjack table and made out with $100. From there he started playing poker and did very well. In 2006, he came in second place in the WSOP main event and in 2007 he won the NBC National Heads-up Championship.

Brad Booth, 'Yukon Brad,' is thirty-one years old and lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Brad started playing as a young child at the age of 7 learning at his grandfathers barber shop. Brad went through hard times as a teenager and young adult but continued to play and enjoy poker. He entered his first WSOP event in 2005 and placed 12th in the $5,000 Short-Handed No-Limit Hold'em event. He has went on the play in several WPT event and cashed out in five.

Brad Booth will make his first WSOP Academy appearance in Atlantic City on December 1st and Paul Wasicka will appear at his first event in the spring of 2008. Between al l of the WSOP Academy instructors there is a wealth of knowledge and skill. They hold 20 WSOP bracelets and over $47 million in tournament winnings.
