WSOP Academy Poker Camp Heads to Atlantic City

The World Series Of Poker Academy announced that it will host its first-ever event in Atlantic City. The two-day camp will be held Dec. 1-2, just ahead of the World Series of Poker Circuit Event at Harrah's Atlantic City.

"We had an amazing summer that included one of our Academy participants winning a WSOP bracelet just a day after attending our camp, and now we're excited to offer another great event, this time in the heart of the East Coast poker scene, Atlantic City," said Jeff Goldenberg.

On hand to teach will be Raymer, Alex Outhred, poker tells expert Joe Navarro and others.The World Series Of Poker Academy AC event will also offer "a total-immersion poker experience" that gives participants the opportunity to hang out and play poker with the best in the game and will include a private poker tournament where participants battle it out for $5,000 seat to the Main Event of the 2008 WSOP Circuit event in Atlantic City.

Sally Ann Boyer of Utah, The poker newbie, attended the WSOP Academy in Las Vegas this past June. She went from camp participant one day to world champion the next when she beat out the largest field ever assembled for a ladies-only event to win the 2007 World Championship Ladies Event.
