$800,000 Pair of Jeans

Sometimes, it seems, getting an ear full for a week from a girlfriend can pay off big. Sammy Zabib forgot to buy her a pair of designer jeans she spotted in a casino boutique last weekend.

According to Sammy, "She was mad. We had an argument. More than one."

It seems the agreement is over for now.

Sammy decided to finally drive back to Atlantic City and buy the jeans he forgot at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa. He got up at 5am and drove the three hours to Atlantic City but got there before the boutique, Whim, opened.

Zabib sat at the Brazil Slingo slot machine ands decided to kill an hour and started spinning at $4 a spin. On one spin the machine just stopped and Zabib was informed he just won the jackpot worth $800,000.

Sammy explained, "I was just trying to kill time until the store opened so I could get her those jeans. Then the machine stopped working. I didn't know why, so I called security. They came over, took a look at it, and said, 'You won the jackpot!'"

Laughing he said, "She wasn't mad anymore."

The jeans? She got them. A pair of "7 For All Mankind" jeans, Dojo style. According to a Borgata spokesman, "They're the hot brand right now."

As far as the rest of the money, Sammy doesn't know what he will do but did say,

Maybe buy her some more jeans."
