Boss Media Finds Funding Errors

Recently there has been a buzz on various online gaming boards about a foreign exchange mistake benefiting Turkish players. As was reported some players were charged the equivalent of 10 dollars for their 1000-dollar deposits at Boss Media Casinos.

The problem has been traced to one of the acquiring banks. As players have discussed, this issue went undetected for quite a period of time, giving these players a fiscal advantage in the games and on the site. Since then the Boss Media processor has banned the Turkish Players.

In a letter to the players who were affected by this, Webdollar, Boss Media's base company, wrote that one of the banks made an error and that ‘transactions you conducted with us in the currency Turkish Lire was incorrectly debited from your bank account. This means that we have debited your bank account with incorrect amounts and that you owe us funds.' Then the amount is listed for each player. The letter continues "It is obvious that you have been aware of and [have been] abusing the system and we now request you to settle this debt to us, or we are forced to take legal actions against you." They then also gave each player a deadline to handle the issue before they take further steps.

Boss Media is hoping to see this issue resolved altogether and no need to persue any of the account holders further. Being aware of the problem, however, has caused the players to no longer hold active accounts on the site, as a hold has been placed on all of them. All nessicary steps are being reviewed at this time.
