Players Only Sends Winners to Canada

Players Only, the Antigua based us online casino, is sending tournament winners to the World Poker Tour (WPT) North American Poker Championship at the end of October, to play for hundreds of thousands of dollars.

This coming Sunday, September 23rd, will be the last of a month long series on the Players Only Super Satellites where players are able to qualify for the opportunity to attend the Niagara Falls event. Some of the satellites are being held throughout the week; tournaments include sit and go as well as multi table cash games. The buy in for this final stop in North America for the WPT qualifier is 200 dollars plus a 12 dollar fee.

"There were quite a lot of players and some pretty stiff competition, especially when it got down to the last eight of us," the winner of last Sunday's satellite explained "I held my own though. Hopefully I'll do okay in Niagara Falls."

Adding to the winners going to the Niagara Falls tournament, are the winners from the final heat in the Gold Card US Poker Tour Leaderboard contest. The special competition for participants in the Players Only Gold Card Rewards program, is pitting the top 100 of this last tournament against the top 100 from previous heats in the tournament for the Gold Card Poker Tour Final on September 29th, when they will be competing for another 12 thousand dollar World Poker Tour North American Poker Championship prize package. This final event will only be paying out one prize package.

The prize package being awarded for the Super Satellite and Gold Card Poker Tour Leaderboard winner includes the 10 thousand dollar registration fee for the WPT North American Poker Championship, along with 2000 dollars in travel expenses and spending money for uses at the Fallsview Casino Resort in Niagara Falls, Canada.
