Playtech Partners with Anonymous Asian Licensee

For those who watch closely, you're sure to have noticed that stocks have went up by four percent for Playtech, one of the leading and popular online software developers, after they made the announced that they will be entering into a partnership with another Asia gaming licensee. One which remains anonymous at this time.

Having a confidentiality agreement between the Asian gaming licensee and themselves, were the reasons the partnership has not been spoken about and has been kept quiet, Playtech stated to the London Stock Exchange, in a recent statement. Internet software, along with poker games, Playtech stated, would be provided for the Asian-focused casino.

The popular software developer stated, "The licensee has a strong and diversified presence in the Asia-Pacific region."

Profits are due to be expected in the during the second quarter of 2008, and the agreement lasting a total of three years.

Comments on this new partnership, is Mor Weizer, CEO of Playtech, "This is a significant new business win for Playtech and comes after lengthy contract formalities with the licensee."

Weizer added, saying, "The scale of its operations and its large and diverse base of clients across Asia make it a very valuable addition to our growing portfolio."
