Stereotypes Defied by Online and Mobile Casino Survey
The survey that was conducted over the summer starting from July and ending in September, for Online Slots Players, by online casino Slotland, showed some surprising results.
The survey included questions concerning players betting habits, their strategies of winning, as well as memorable winnings, also including questions concerning playing games on mobile phones.
A few of the findings from the survey conducted were that most players interested in playing online and mobile slots were mainly small-time rollers interested in only having to deposit small amounts and being able to play as long as possible. It also showed two-thirds of the players liked playing the slots simply because they're easy to play. The rest being drawn by the possibilities of winning the large jackpots with small wagers.
Nearly all that were surveyed responded with saying their play was exclusively in the comfort of their homes. A third saying not only did they play slots, but video poker as well. Half of which have tried online poker and only a third of those having visited Las Vegas.
Most of the play is only done online, but 60 percent have also enjoyed playing in land based casinos.
According to the survey, most slot players tend to be middle-aged or older, with around 16 percent being under the age of 30, and half of these being male.
