Ladbrokes Hires New Director From 32Red

Ladbrokes has acquired the employment of a highly experience member of the online gaming industry, Ed Andrewes, to take the roll of Managing Director of Ladbrokes online gambling operations. Andrewes, scheduled to report to his new job on March 1st, 2008, currently possesses more than 10 years in the online gambling industry, including recent employment with Victor Chandler and 32Red Plc.

As Managing Director of online gambling operations at Ladbrokes, Andrewes will be working under, and reporting to, John O'Reilly, Ladbrokes' Managing Director of eGaming and Telephone Betting.

Andrewes career in the online gambling sector began as the general manager of PA Sporting Life. He then went on to become commercial director at Blue Square shortly after the company was established. In 2003, Andrewes played a crucial role in the acquisition of Blue Square by Rank. His more recent employment has seen him serving in Gibraltar as the Managing Director of Victor Chandler International and Development Director of 32Red Plc., a publicly traded company on AIM.

In addition to Ed Andrewes, Ladbrokes has also employed Liz Hillock to the position of Head of CRM and Player Retention. Hillock's 7 years experience in online marketing, spending the last 5 years with Tiscali UK including the Head of CRM position there, has made her a prime candidate for Ladbrokes.
