Word is out that there might be a replacement for Alberto Gonzales for Attorney General who will be leaving office this week since resigning. This replacement leads any list there might be and he is a former District Judge named Michael B. Mukasey.

The announcement of his nomination could be announced early this week from Washington.

Mukasey was described as being "tough as nails" by the past White House domestic policy advisor Jay Lefkowitz, who went on to say he has a very strong "law and order values."

He is sixty-six years old and had formerly served as chief in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York for nineteen years and has been described by Republicans as being a conservative on counterterrroism.

There seems to be no mention of where Mukasey if placed in service as Attorney General where he will stand online gambling, if he follows in Alberto Gonzales footsteps online gamers will no get the results they have hoped for with a new Attorney General.

With his nineteen years on the District Court in New York Mukasey had become close friends Rudolph Giuliani and he has become a member of Giuliani's justice advisory committee for his presidential campaign.
