Drew Lesofski Joins Poker Player Alliance

It was formally announced today that Drew Lesofski has joined the Poker Player Alliance (PPA) as their director of Grassroots and External Affairs.  Lesofski is a former senior federal policy adviser from Washington DC who will bring his experience to the organization as they continue to gain ground with their fight to protect the right of individuals to enjoy poker both online and offline.

With their growing membership base PPA says that they are the strongest voice for poker players in the states and in Washington, DC.  Alfonse D'Amato, Chairman of the PPA said, "As we get closer to reaching the million-member milestone, it is more important than ever for PPA to find new ways to energize and mobilize our members. Drew's policy and political campaign experience will be an asset to PPA as we further refine and augment our grassroots program."

Lesofski will be bringing the organization his years of experience as senior federal policy advisor at the Washington DC office of Nevada Governor Jim Gibbons, he was also worked with the Department of Health and Human services as part of a team that was focused on Native American Grant programs.  At the same time he was also volunteering on a number of local, state and federal campaigns.

"Drew's experience has given him a solid understanding of the relationship between states and the federal government and the skills necessary to organize and manage multifaceted grassroots operations. We look forward to having him as part of our team," continued D'Amato.
