MGM Mirage Interested in Online Gambling
Alan Feldman, Senior Vice President, spoke with journalist Tom Somach of the San Francisco Chronicle that that the other major gambling groups in the American industry would probably do the same, and that his own group could be online inside of a year.
In a conversation with a newspaper journalist, a senior executive with MGM Mirage gambling group stated that they would seek to get involved in online gambling, if the US were to legalize online gambling.

The interview indicated the support Feldman has for the efforts of Congressman Barney Frank, with regard to the proposed bill HR2046 the Internet Gambling Regulation and Enforcement Act. This would license and strictly regulate online gambling, in a legal enforceable environment.
Online gambling in the United States is currently facing a difficult situation. With the Department of Justice prosecutions, and a ban on internet gambling transactions the American player has been effectively limited, even within their own home.
