PPA Let the campaign begin!

In an effort to stay on top of lawmakers apposed to the online gambling industry, the Poker Players Alliance has moved its headquarters to Washington D.C.

In a bold move the PPA will lobby for the online poker industry revealed their intentions to congregate in D.C for a Policy Conference. The three day event will take place from October 22nd through the 24th.

This campaign began by sending an email to its nearly 800,000 PPA members to stress the importance in joining the lobbyists in Washington next month to support of the online gambling. Participating members of the PPA will have a chance to meet with Members of Congress who will vote on regulation and best policy for this important issue.

The Policy Conference’s hub will be the Omni Shoreham Hotel and transportation will be provided to Capitol Hill.

The event kicks off with a Welcome Reception at 6:00pm on Monday, October 22nd and participants are encourage to plan flights home the night of the 23rd or the morning of the 24th. You don’t have to be a member of the PPA to participate.
