You won't hear much about him on the news, but according to Internet analysts, Ron Paul is the most widely searched US Presidential candidate in the 2008 elections. More people have been searching for information regarding Ron Paul than both Hillary Clinton and Rudolph Guiliani alike. He has, in fact, become one of the hottest topics searched on the Internet today.

According to main-stream media, Ron Paul isn't even a factor in the 2008 elections. In contradiction to this theory, his fan base comes evenly from every state in the nation, with many creating informative web sites and blogs about him.

One main factor in Ron Paul's popularity is speculated to be his opposition to the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) of 2006. Paul is the only main contender for US President who supports the regulation, licensing and taxation of online gambling in the United States.

Gambling911.com is a very popular and highly visited web site who provides betting odds on everything from American Idol contestants to heavyweight boxing. Their web site has presented vast coverage on Ron Paul and his potential in the upcoming 2008 elections. His search popularity has become so high in fact that Gambling911 decreased his odds of election dramatically from '100 to 1', to '15 to 1'.
