U.S. Regulations To Be Made Public

It seems that the official word will be made public shortly about the regulations that the United States has in the Unlawful Gambling Enforcement Act and there is sure to be comment on these from many fronts. What has not been made pubic as of yet is how much it will say about online poker.

Much of this has been announced by IMEGA the lobby group for online gambling, several other groups have also confirmed this and stated that as recent as a few days ago the Treasury and the Federal Department were drafting the new regulations.

When these regulations are made public there will be approximately ninety days for open comment before they can be moved into law.

As of now there have been not details that have leaked out what this report may contain so but many groups are waiting for it to become public. As well as what it might say about online poker and how it will affect online gaming companies along with American players.

With the recent problems that the United States has had with countries bringing action against them for this Unlawful Gambling Enforcement act many of them will also have an interest in what the details of this report are and how it will affect their claims. Many operators will also be waiting as many of them lost a large percentage of their business when American players were banned from their online casinos.
