Matt Vengrin Joins Absolute Poker

Part of the Cereus Poker Network, Absolute Poker recently announced they have signed a new poker pro to represent their website. Twenty four year old Matt Vengrin has become the latest sponsored player of Absolute Poker.

Vengrin has won over $700,000 while playing poker online at various top poker rooms over the past two years. Vengrin has earned five top ten finishes at several online poker tournaments this year including ninth place at the first event of the UltimateBet Online Championship, a pot limit Omaha tournament.

In land based play, Vengrin has won almost $400,000. His most recent win was event number nine of the 2009 Aussie Millions for $10,000. He also earned pay days in the Aruba Poker Classic 2008 and in event #29 of the 2008 WSOP.

Vengrin commented on signing with Absolute Poker, he stated: “I am honoured and humbled that I was chosen to help represent Absolute Poker. I believe in the brand and look forward to a long-term relationship working side by side with the management team.”
