Online Player of the Year Standings
Last year's Card Player Online Player of the Year (OPOY) winner Isaac Baran has blasted his way up the leader board to make his first appearance of the year on the top 10 standings.
Baron now has 1,552 points that put him in ninth places but he's got some serious work to do if he wants to match or beat the 8,304 points he made last year.
He is actually on his way to do just that in the last seven weeks he has remained consistent, picking up points with five final tables in OPOY qualifying events so far and lined his pockets with about $118,000 along the way.
Russel Carson currently holds first pace with 2,066 points that he mainly earned playing at two events. Carson finished third in the Full Tilt $1 million guaranteed tournament and then finishing second in Sunday's Second Chance on PokerStars.
Brian Hawkins is second on the board with 1,940 points and unknown player gautchos is in third after winning event 10 of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series.
