Phil Helmuth Crash Footage

Just before entering the WSOP main event several weeks back, Phil Hellmuth was crashed an UltimateBet race car that he was supposedly meant to arrive in. At the time, details were very unclear as to what happened and why Hellmuth arrived in an expensive racing suit without benefit of the car.

As soon as the media got hold of the incident, it was speculated that the car crash was nothing but a publicity stunt. Others believed Hellmuth's involvement with the upcoming Hollywood film that would see a movie version of the old TV show Knight Rider played a part in the accident. Rumors ranged from Hellmuth test driving one of the film's cars to Hellmuth intending to play the part that made David Hasselhoff famous so long ago.

Since then, video footage has been released revealing exactly what happened before, during and after the crash. As it turns out, according to the footage, Hellmuth was merely playing around with the 200mph race car provided by sponsor UltimateBet.net. When entering the parking lot, obviously well over the speed limit, Hellmuth simply drove head on into a cinder-block, severely damaging the front end of the race car.

Afterwards, Phil climbed out of the car, with what appeared to be perhaps a touch of embarrassment creasing his features, and walked towards the entrance. Taking the arms of an entourage of beautiful female companions, a group to each side of him, Phil made his way into Harrah's Casino.
