Hollywood Poker Brings Back the Grand Tournament

The Grand Tournament returns to Hollywood poker this weekend bringing with it a $175,000 guaranteed prize pool. Hollywood Poker (a popular online poker room) has reintroduced the Grand Tournament this weekend, with the first tournament having started at 2pm (Eastern Standard Time).

Each poker player in the tournament begins with $10,000 tournament chips, and $25/$25 big and small blinds, the blinds raise every thirty minutes, which should create fairly strong aggressive play, leaving players with an opportunity to wait for a hand, as opposed to tournaments where the blinds are raised at 10 and 15 minute intervals causing players to play much faster, and a bit more loose.

The buy in for the Hollywood Poker Grand Tournament is $1,000 + a $40 fee paid to the house. There are satellite tournaments available, via a 3 multi-table feeder events, working up to one main multi table satellite game. Sit N Go satellites are also available.

HollyWood Poker is guaranteeing a prize pool of no less than $175,000 split amongst the winners, however even that prize amount may increase of course depending on the number of tournament entrants.
