Irish Championship 2008

The PartyPoker Irish Championship has been announced, this will be held at the Radisson Hotel and Spa in Galway. This championship tournament is the first major tournament that is being held by PartyPoker and is one of the first large tournaments to come to Europe in 2008.

While this is a land-based tournament there will be online tournaments at the same time the live one is being played and aired on satellite.

This PartyPoker tournament will be held from January 3rd to January 6th to ring in the New Year and Pokerevents is organizing this three-year-old tournament. This tournament is known for bringing in entrants of all levels and skilled players.

The price of the buy-in will bring close to an estimated four hundred poker players and this tournament will be recorded in six separate segments. These segments will be split into one-hour shows and televised on RTE, Irelands national broadcaster.

There will be approximately five hundred satellites that will air this game in pubs and clubs throughout Ireland and PokerParty will be offering more games and tournaments online.
