Sky Poker Allies With Poker Project Sky Poker.com
Under the terms of the agreement, Sky Poker and Poker Project will work in tandem to provide players in UK pubs with a fun and enjoyable evening where poker fans will be able to balance themselves with other uk poker players by securing points through quality of play. This will, in turn, provide them with ranking within a league.
In addition, as part of this league, Poker Project players have the chance of appearing live on Sky Poker. "We're really excited about our partnership with Sky Poker," said Aaron Chandiram of Poker Project.
"Every week thousands of people enjoy a sociable and fun game of poker at their local pub with the Poker Project. We're delighted that, with Sky Poker, these players will feel a little closer to games they see online and on television." Poker Project began life in May of 2006 in Buckinghamshire with four sites and 250 members. It has grown to 4,500 members playing at just about 100 pubs across the Britain Islands. Poker Project players compete to conclude at the top of a national league every quarter.
"At Sky Poker.com we're proud to offer a fun and entertaining poker experience for new and more experienced players on both television and online," said Emma Crowe, Head of Poker at Sky Poker. "Now, through our partnership with Poker Project, we offer a fun live environment for people to learn and play poker. We're excited that with the Poker Project the Sky Poker community is continuing to grow."
