Phantom Fiber Upgrades Mobile Solutions To Meet Demand
According to Phantom Fiber, they have met the popular demand by developing mobile capabilities that support over 1,500 PDAs and mobile handsets, including all of the most widely circulated devices among the British and European public.
The regional focus of the company's innovations are currently focused on the financial and gaming capabilities, including poker and casino games, sports books, horse racing, bingo, lotteries and other games. Phantom Fiber's software platform implements an extension of their client's web site, enabling what was once an Internet-only application to provide mobile functionality.
Phantom Fiber is also expanding their horizons to the banking and brokerage market in the region, establishing mobile capabilities for financial institutions to provide mobile content on a single vendor platform.
Jim Preedy, Phantom's director of business development in Europe and the UK, commented on the lack of innovation in the mobile market, "I joined the Phantom team in November '06 and have since met with many of the leading UK and European sports betting and gaming operators. To date it has astounded me that those who have deployed a mobile offering use a system which works across only a handful of mobile devices and offers none of the critical elements such as account registration, cashier and marketing features found as standard in the Phantom solution."
Phantom's reputation in the targeted region has already been well established, partnering with such companies as Bidnation, Dynamite Idea, Finsoft, GTS Plc, Kiron Interactive, Leisure & Gaming, Orbis, Parlay Entertainment and Skill 4 Prizes.
