6 WSOP Champion Match on NBC's Poker After Dark
Poker players that are looking to tone up their skills can improve their game from watching this weeks NBC's Poker After Dark. Instead of the usual banter and fooling around that has been seen in some of the previous episodes, this show is going to focus on 6 World Series of Poker Champions as they square off and attempt to win the 120,000 prize.
The players that are competing in this lively and informing match are Berry Jonnston (1986), Johhny Chan (1987, 1988), Phil Hellmuth (1989), Huck Seed (1996), Chris "Jesus" Ferguson (2000) and Jamie Gold (2006). These players have collectively accumulated 36 World Series of Poker bracelets and have combined tournament lifetime winnings of over 41 million.
This will be Johnny Chans third appearance on Champion's week, he also won the match in season one and finished second in season 2. All the other players featured have also been on previous episodes except for Berry Johnston, Berry won the main event in 1986 and is still holding the record for the most cashes in the WSOP Championship.
This exciting match will begin on Monday night at 2:05am and will continue for five nights at the same time slot. Also don't miss the "Director's Cut" that air late on Saturday night, February 16th at 1am.
