"Lucky You" the Movie

Lucky you is a romance comedy starring Eric Bana, Drew Barrymore and Robert Duvall. In this movie you will meet Huck Cheever (Bana) who is a man that likes to gamble on just about everything except personal relationships with the opposite sex. When it comes to women, Huck likes to keep it simple, no commitments, no strings, no long term relationships.

That was until he met Billie Offer(Barrymore), a young singer from Bakersfield. Now on top of trying to win the 2003 WSOP main event he has the challenge of trying to win over Billie. Only one thing is trying to block his path, hi dad LC Cheever(Duvall), a legend of poker who left Huck and his mom many years before.

When it gets down to final table both Huck and his father are there. Finally getting down to 2, Huck and LC go heads up! As the struggle continues between father and son, Huck realizes what he has been doing wrong. He had everything mixed up! He needed to live his life the way he plays his cards, and play his cards the way he has been living his life! Huck realizes that this is the solution he has been searching for. To win at life, sometimes you need to let lose and take a chance and sometimes in poker you need to evaluate and play a little tighter.

Reviews of this movie seem to run about 50/50. It may not be the most romantic comedy you have ever seen, but when it comes to poker, this movie knows its stuff!
