2008 Aruba Classic Guarantees $1 Million

It has been 2 months since Ultimatebet finished up the 6^th annual Aruba Poker Classic.  With it receiving praise from the US and international poker community, UB announced plans for the 2008 Aruba Classic poker tournament on the poplar island resort area.

George Mclean of Ultimate bet said, "We're heading back to Aruba for the biggest poker celebration of the decade. And we're bringing the largest first place prize in our history with us."

Again the host will be the Radisson Aruba Resort and Casino and the 2008 Aruba Classic will start September 27^th and run into October concluding October 4^th, 2008.

The 2008 will have one major change though.  This event will have the first place prize pool guaranteed at $1,000,000 from Ultimatebet.

Making his debut in 2006, Mike Savage, renowned tournament director will return in 2008 as well as several yet to be announced Hollywood and entertainment celebrities. Of course there will be poker stars there, past events have included the likes of Jennifer Tilly, Phil "The Unabomber" Laak, Annie Duke, Phil Hellmuth and last years participant, Scott Ian from Anthrax.

Online poker qualifiers for the 2008 Aruba Poker Classic will begin online at UltimateBet in early January 2008.
