Bodog Poker Open is Now Closed
The first ever Bodog Poker Open has run it's course with all the events over and the winners announced. The Bodog Poker Open saw nearly 2,000 players turn out to play in the series that generated almost $600,000 in total prize money.
Bodog added a total of $75,000 to sweeten the pot as well as an additional $10,000 that was added to the prize pools of the first five events. The main event got a $25,000 bonus added to the prize pool. Winners from each of the five preliminary events also got a seat at the Bodog Poker Open Main Event.
The $500 Main Event drew 596 players in to win that created over $280,000 in prize money. Shawn "Phatcat" Luman ended up taking them all out to win the title of the Bodog Poker Open Champion, cash and an engraved Omega Speed Master watch.
Event 1's winner was rusostreet who took home $26,062.50 and event 2 went to PckAces who got $28,270 in cash. Event 3 saw 3pounder taking home the win and $23,292.50, event 4's winner was foldperflor85 who got a $14,100 cash prize. Bigcatfish won event 5 and $10,830 in cash and the Main Event winner was Luman who got $76,280 in cash.
