Doyles Room Hosting Event to Haiti Tonight

A special bounty tournament is set to take place tonight at Doyles Room to help raise money for the relief efforts in Haiti. The nation was hit by an earthquake last week and it has killed at least 70,000 people and destroyed many buildings and major landmarks in the area.

Doyles Room will be hosting a $27.50 buy-in event which is called the $50,000 Haiti Relief Bounty Tournament. Many celebrities are expected to compete in the tournament including Doyle Brunson, Kevin Connolly, Mickey Rourke and Nicky Hilton.

Doyle Brunson commented: “our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims of the earthquake and the families of those affected by the disaster in Haiti. Its times like these that make you realize how lucky all of us really are. It puts things in perspective.”

The tournament will reward players with $1,000 in cash if they manage to knock out a celebrity. Those who are able to knock out two celebrities will earn $10,000 and $50,000 will be rewarded to anyone who can knock out three celebrities.
