Full Tilt Online Poker Series VIII Starts May 7th

The Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) is back again with their FTOPS VIII and there are going to be 24 events on the schedule.  The events include "Mystery" tournaments that will be announced later on.  Full Tilt is guaranteeing more then $10 million dollars in prize pools over the course of the event.

FTOPS VIII will start this Wednesday, May 7th to May 18th and there will be at least five events that will have a guaranteed prize pool of at least $1 million dollars and the prize pool could turn out to be larger, either way someone is in for a nice payday.  The first event will take place on May 7th at 9pm EST and will be a $200 buy in Sixhanded No Limit Hold'em event with a guaranteed $750,000 dollar prize pool.

The two events that are the favorites among players are the $2,500 buy in No Limit Hold'em event and the Main Event.  The first is the $2.500 buyin event that will last for two days starting on May 17th and finishing on May 18th with a guaranteed prize pool of $1.5 million dollars.  The most popular of course is the Main Event which is a $500 buy in No Limit Hold'em Tournament with a guaranteed prize pool of $2 million dollars.
