Full Tilt Poker $35,000 dollar Heads Up Championship

Full Tilt Poker is going to be hosting their first ever $35,000 dollar Heads Up Championship on Saturday, May 24th.  As long as the tournament fills up which it is sure to there will be a total prize pool of $1.6 million dollars.  There is only room for 64 players to enter to play in this tournament so the seats are sure to go fast.

There are currently 32 people that are registered to play in the event and this tournament already has seasoned live poker pros and quite a few online poker pros already.  Some of the live poker pros that are already registered to play in the Heads Up Championship are; Phil Ivey, Chris "Jesus" Ferguson.  Howard Lederer, Erik Seidel, Gus Hansen and David Benyamine.

The tournament also has a lot of the top online players registered, including; Brian Hastings, Tom "durrrr" Dwan, Jeff "Actionjeff" Garza, Hac "trex313"Dang, Cole South, Chris "Genius28" Lee, Isaac "the guru 11" Baron and Phil "OMGClayAiken" Galfond.

You can also qualify to play in the event at Full Tilt Poker, they are offering satellite games and two $500 + $35 qualifiers and a total of four players will win their seat at the Heads Up Championship.
