KickOffPoker Announces 5.000 Buy-in Poker Tournament

KickOffPoker.com, a Danish company announced today that it will be launching a poker tournament that will measure up to the largest in Las Vegas. Starting August 29th, they will start the tournaments to get access to the €5.000 poker tournament.

At a €5.000 buy-in this tournament is being billed as the most expensive online poker multi-player tournament. No other online poker site offers a similar tournament experience.

Marketing Manager for KickOffPoker.com, Steffen Kristensen, "We have a clear objective that this tournament will be a permanent element of the palette at KickOffPoker.com. We will run the tournament on the first Sunday of the month 12 times per year. However, the first time will be on 9 September so we can get underway as soon as possible."

One of the most successful Danish poker player, Rene Mouritsen, in the WSOP and most recently played in the Scandinavian Masters in London has announced he will be entered in this mammoth event.

Rene Mouritsen said, "It is a unique opportunity for me to participate in such a large tournament on Danish soil. The premiere of the tournament on will be August 29th for the first satellite and the first final is set for September 9th.
