Liv Boeree is Ladbrokes European Ladies Champion
Liv Boeree has been crowned as Ladbrokes European Ladies Champion after she outlasted 51 of Europe's top female tournament players. Some of the players she had to beat were WSOPE winner Annette Obrested, Bev Pace, Michelle Orpe, Bev Pace, Katherine Hartree and last year's winner Jackie Meecham.
The Ladbrokes European Ladies Championship was a two day event with a buy in of $2,000 dollars and was filmed for later airing. After the play has been edited into six one hour shows it will then be aired on Sky Sports through out July and August.
The event has gotten very popular since it started and demand for seats is high so Ladbrokes is now thinking of increasing the capacity for next years event. Absolute Poker sponsor's Boeree and she took home the title as well as the $30,000 dollar first place prize and a seat into the World Series of Poker Main Event.
