Online Player DFish Wins $1K Monday at Full Tilt

Darryll “DFish” Fish logged on Monday at Full Tilt poker to play some poker and boy did he play. With a field of three hundred and twenty four players competing DFish managed to outlast them all as well as come back after being down in chips when final table play began to take the first place win of $81,000.

When final table play began, David Baker held an enormous chip lead with almost 600,000 chips. The closest player to him in chips was losebigpots who held just over 200,000. Baker used his lead to knock out the first player from the competition, xerok420. Then Baker would knock out Bryan Sapp in eighth place with Q-10.

The next few players to be eliminated would be Steve Leonard, Ronald Grauer, holdi12 and Grayson Nichols. When it got down to three handed play, DFish would finally take out Baker. Baker called DFish’s all in with pocket tens and DFish flopped over pocket fives. Baker should have had the hand but DFish got a five on the flop and sealed the win.

That left DFish and losebigpots to begin heads up play. DFish held the chip lead and took the win in just one hand. Losebigpots went all in with pocket eights and DFish called with pocket tens. The tens held up for DFish and he was the first place winner.
