Simon Charity Poker Tournament Gets Seat
The 3rd of November the Simon Poker Charity Tournament will be hosted in Dublin by the European Poker Tour, it has been announced by the European Poker Tour that they will donate a seat at the Grand Final Monte Carlo that is worth $10,600.
The seat that will be donated is to the Simon Poker Day Charity and will help to make the day a profitable one for them, just as last years Simon Poker Charity event.
John Duthie the CEO of the European Poker Tour has stated he was happy to be of assistance for a cause such as this one.
In a statement from Padraig Parkinson the spokesman for the players said that this is an offer of such generosity that we need to decide how it is best to use this seat to aid the homeless, which is the goal of the Simon Poker Charity.
Last year was a terrific success for the Simon Poker Charity in Dublin where they raised more than $50,000 and with corporate and private donors this year will be another success.
To snooker stars Steve Davis and Ken Doherty have stated that the will be committing some of their time for this event.
