In this tournament the winner was a Swedish poker player that has the user name xRaySpex who took the winners seat and left the table with $20,000.

The $100,000 tournament that was held last Sunday was somewhat larger than the last one held at Everest Poker with nine hundred and seventy seven entrants. The buy-in was $100 + $9 and according to statements by Jonathan May who is the property manager at Everest Poker the competition between the entrants was fierce.
Each day there are satellites at Everest Poker that have buy-ins starting at $11 + $1 to gain entry into the next $100,000 tournament.
