The Great British Poker Tour Gets Poker Pro’s

In the up coming Great British Poker Tour that will be played November 5^th to November 11^th has five well known poker players that have signed on; Jamie Gold, Antonio Esfandiari, Phil Laak, Jennifer Tilly, and Robert Williamson III. Not only are they are they pro poker players but famous as well.

The Great British Poker Tour is being held at the Gala Casino Harbourside, in Bristol, and according to statements made they have seen very high standards in the local amateurs that have held their own against pro players in the UK and other European countries. They expect the same at the Great British Poker Tour with amateur poker players up against the pro's.

These five pro players that will participate in this tour, along with all of the other poker players will be competing for a prize pool of ₤5000,000 and the Grand Final title which is expected to reach as high as ₤ 650,000 for a prize pool.

These five poker players that have joined the Great British Poker Tour have wins under their belts; Gold was the largest poker tournament winner when in the WSOP 2006 he won $ 12 million; Esfandiari won te 3004 Poker Classic in L.A.; Tilly took home a gold bracelet for the win at the 2005 WSOP in the ladies event; and Williams has amassed nearly $2 million.
