UltiamateBet Donates Aruba Poker Classic Prize

UltimateBet has donated a 2008 Aruba Poker Classic prize package to the Kentucky Derby Poker Championship today.  This is going to be charity Texas Hold'em tournament that was created to raise awareness of climate change and its impact on communities, particularly those that are poor and undeveloped.

The Kentucky Derby Poker Championship will be taking place at Caesars Indiana on Saturday, May 3rd at 8:30pm.  You can still play in the tournament for a $2,500 buyin.  The charities that are going to be benefiting from the tournaments procedes are the International Red Cross, Red Crescent Climate Centre, Health and Climate Foundation and the Robby Albarado Foundation.

Half of the players buy ins will be going into the prize pool and the other half will be going to charity.  So to sweeten the pot one winner will be getting the Aruba Poker Classic prize package donated by UltimateBet  that is worth $8,500 dollars and includes a seat into the Main Event and funds for travel and expenses. 

The 2008 Aruba Poker Classic will take place on September 27th and will run until October 4th.  They are expecting 750 players to register for the event making the prize pool over $4 million dollars.  There is a guaranteed first place prize of $1 million dollars.
