WSOPC Bayour Poker Challenge Winner Dr. Walker
The final World Series of Poker Circuit event of the season is happening at the Harrahs New Orleans Casino and Resort. The tournament will be running until May 23rd and their first event, the Fifth Annual Bayou Poker Challenge was a great success.
Event 1 was the Bayou Poker Challenge and it was a $500 + $50 No Limit Hold'em Tournament with a total prize pool of $162,960 dollars. The event started on May 9th and finished up on May 10th. This event saw 336 poker players enter in for a chance at the first place prize. The final players that cashed out at the tournament are below.
Dr. Del Walker from Houma, LA won the event and got a $50,518 dollar prize, Matt "Cub" Culberson from New Orleans took home second place for $26,074 dollars. Ryan Welch from Nashville, TN finished the tournament in third place for $13,037 dollars followed by Matther Stulting from The Woodlands, TX in fourth place with a $11,407 prize.
Bryce Kammeyer from Pensacola, FL went out in fifth place for a $9,778 finish and John White from Houston, TX went out in sixth place and got $8,148 dollars. In seventh position is Robbie Betancourt from Humble, TX that got $6,518 dollars and finishing in eighth place was Edward "Trip" Ludwin who won $4,889 dollars.
Finally the last two players that cashed out are David Bailey from Humble, TX who got ninth place with $3,259 dollars and then Hason Fontenot from Prairieville, LA who finished the tournament in tenth place and cashed out for $1,956 dollars.
