Asian Logic has Acquired Asain Poker Tour

In a press release newly listed Asian facing online gambling operator AsianLogic Limited announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Asian Poker Tour.

The Asian Poker Tour is Asia's original an largest poker tour from Singapore based Capital Events Pte.  Under the new agreement, Asian Logic will now own the Asian Poker Brand and their web address. 

This will give Asian Logic access to an exclusive database, which will drive additional online traffic to Asian Logic's poker sites.

AsianLogic will also mange the running of Asian Poker Tour's online and land bases tournaments but APT is going to launch their own play for fun and real poker rooms on Playtech's iPoker Network.

The financial details of the deal were not made available at this time so we will have to make guesses as to the amount that AsianLogic had to pay for their newest acquisition. 

Capital Events will remain as a key strategic shareholder in the APT and retain ongoing control and responsibility for the poker events in Singapore.
