Former Cop on the Run After Stealing Poker Money

Federal Marshals in Sweetwater Tennessee are on the hunt for a former Sweetwater cop that was charged in connection with money that came up missing from the police evidence locker.

According to the Monroe County Advocate and Democrat, Chris Greene, 44 was indicted on one count of theft over $10,000 dollars.  Sweetwater police have called in the TBI to further investigate after around $23,000 was seized from what they call an illegal poker game was reported missing.

At this time they don't where Greene is but believe that he could be overseas and possibly somewhere in the Middle East.
