PokerStars is Still Number One
PokerStars is currently still number 1 according to the latest stats at Pokerscout. Pokerscout analyses 20 million online poker hands each month to be able to give a real time statistical snapshot of online poker.
PokerStars is still enjoying a commanding lead over their rivals, they currently have over 14,923 cash players with a daily peak of 22,505 concurrently online and a seven day average of 15,400.
Their closest rival is Full Tilt Poker which has 8,236 cash players with a daily peak of 9,732 and a seven day average of 7,000. Following closely behind Full Tilt Poker in position number 3 is Playtech's iPoker Network with 1,739 cash players, daily peak of 9,408 and a 7 day average of 5,400.
Party Poker is now in forth place with 2,417 cash player, daily peak of 9,129 and 7 day average of 5,200. The site in fifth place is Ongame with 1,164 cash player, daily peak of 8,886 and 7 day average of 4,600.
Everest Poker is moving up and they have moved up to the sixth slot with 783 cash players, daily peak of 5,960 and a 7 day average of 3,000. This move has put them ahead of the Swedish government monopoly Svenske Spel which is in the 7th position with 332, 4239 and 1480.
Boss Media's International Poker Network is in the eighth position with 327, 3005 and 1480, they are ahead of UltimateBet which is in ninth place with 2254, 2773 and 1360. The last poker room that sits in the Top Ten is Cake Poker with 1114, 1764 and 1180.
Absolute Poker could possibly still feeling the after effects of their insider cheating scandal and is now sitting in the 11th position on the list and didn't make the Top Ten.
