Legal Online Poker on The Horizon

On the horizon is a legal way for United States Poker and Gambling player to play online. A new opportunity may be coming for the US poker player. In hopes to reopen the market, the Dynamic Gaming Systems Network and the 13 poker room members will soon be taking advantage of the Pic-Pay service from PIC-Club.com. The PIC Club or the Players Investment Company is a company that will be functioning as an online payment processor for customers of the online poker rooms. Their goal is to open the market in the United States in terms of smooth and secure payment processing. The company will be packaging branded ATM cards, Online Bill Pay services and many other typically banking features, not available to online payment processors. 

By utilizing this new method of management for the poker customer account, it will eliminate the need to transfer money to and from a banking establishment in the United States. This will, in effect, eliminate the application of the UIGEA passed in 2006. The impact of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act has been felt through out the poker industry, not just in the United States. Many companies, such as NETeller, held a significant market share prior to October 2006. After this act was passed into law, these companies had to leave one of their most lucrative markets, entirely in most cases.

To date the United States Government has yet to release a plan of enforcement, therefore the creation of this avenue of funding online gaming will likely be closely monitored.
