Digital Gaming Systems Takeover
Speculation that deeply troubled online poker network and software provider Digital Gaming Systems was taken over by the little known Cintaly Holdings Corporations have surfaced again this week with unpaid player reports that there is little evidence of any substance to the takeover company.
Digital Gaming Systems announced earlier that they had signed an agreement to transfer their assets to Cintaly, Although not many details of the deal or the consideration involved have been released. The announcement also revealed that Cintaly intends on having the network up and running again within days but it doesn't appear as if much is being done.
The network has been in trouble for quite some time, member sites have been migrating to other networks with an increasing number of unpaid player reports from those that remain and largely dormant DGS skins, this all casts doubts on Cintaly and their goals.
Reports say that sites like Jungle Poker have remained closed except for ring game play, 2 or 3 people at support and the cashier which reopened on February 11th with new withdrawals rules imposed. The new rules appear to suggest that the previous balances of players may not be honored.
