Hollywood Poker Offering Bubble Insurance

When you enter a major live poker tournament you hope to take first place and the biggest prize.  Well since you can't take home first every time why not buy some insurance?  Hollywood Poker is offering players Bubble Insurance for the 2008 World Series of Poker Europe Main Event.

So if you play on the site and finish in any of the first five positions outside of the money at the WSOPE Main Event you will win a seat for the 2009 event from Hollywood Poker.  This way you will get another chance at winning the money without having to pay the buyin.

This is open to all of their online players and you won't have to win your seat at Hollywood Poker or purchase a ticket to the event through them to be eligible for the insurance.  All you need to do for the insurance is to earn 1,000 player points at Hollywood Poker between now and August 31st upon registering for the event.

"We're poker players too, and we know just how it feels to be out there on a limb where up means the money and down means absolutely nothing," said Vince Van Patten, Hollywood Poker spokesperson. "We can't decide for you but we hope you get covered."

You can also get your seat for the WSOPE Main Event at Hollywood Poker by winning one of their prize packages.  On Sunday, Hollywood Poker launched their $24,000 dollar WSOPE Main Event Package online finals, where they will be rewarding one lucky player with a $24,000 dollar prize package.

The online finals will be held every other Sunday until September 7th and the buyin is $300 + $20 to enter.  You can also play in qualifiers at Hollywood Poker that start at just $1 dollar to win your way into the online finals.
